“Female Perversions” is a body of work that explores the complexities of femininity and gender. Through a combination of photography and video art, I delve into the societal expectations and norms that shape our perceptions of gender and identity. This thought-provoking collection, showcasing the experiences of women who struggle with the limitations placed upon them by society and the pressure to conform to traditional gender roles,  and invites the viewer on a journey of reflection, challenging our understanding of what it means to be a woman and to be feminine in today's world.

 

 The term "female perversion" is often used to shame and stigmatize women's sexual desires and expressions. Reclaiming "female perversions" means embracing the diversity and complexity of femininity, free from societal norms and expectations and accepting it as a symbol of strength, resilience, and resistance.
